Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 10, 2026
FairShift Pro ("FairShift Pro", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you access or use the FairShift Pro software-as-a-service application, dashboard, related websites, and mobile apps (collectively, the "Service" or "Platform").
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Organizations that use the Service remain responsible for providing any required notices to their workers and other end users whose data is processed through the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile data: Names, email addresses, access level within an organization, organization affiliation, and credentials needed to create and secure accounts.
Workforce and scheduling data: Worker identifiers, work-location assignments, schedule history, overtime-related records, attendance-related inputs, and other operational information uploaded or synced by the organization to run scheduling and related workflows.
Usage and device data: Log events, feature usage, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or app type, device identifiers, and diagnostic information that help us operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Communications: Messages, support requests, and feedback you send to FairShift Pro, including content submitted through contact or inquiry forms.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service—including scheduling, notifications, messaging, and related operational features.
We use information to authenticate users, apply access controls, keep each organization's data separate from others, detect abuse, and protect the security and integrity of the Platform.
We use information to communicate about account status, billing (where applicable), product updates, and support responses.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual for analytics, product planning, and service improvement.
3. How We Share Information
Within your organization: Authorized users at your organization may access workforce and scheduling data according to their access level and assigned work locations.
Service providers: We may share information with trusted vendors who help us host infrastructure, process payments, send notifications, or provide analytics—only as needed to operate the Service and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Legal and safety: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FairShift Pro, our customers, users, or others.
Business transfers: If FairShift Pro is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
4. Data Separation, Access, and Customer Responsibility
FairShift Pro serves multiple organizations. Each organization's schedules and worker records are kept separate so they are not visible to unrelated customers.
Access within an organization is governed by assigned permissions. Organizations are responsible for granting access appropriately and for the accuracy of data they upload or sync.
Where FairShift Pro processes worker or workforce data on behalf of a customer organization, that organization is typically the data controller (or equivalent) for that workforce data, and FairShift Pro acts as a service provider / processor. Organizations must ensure they have a lawful basis and any required notices or consents.
5. Retention
We retain account, scheduling, and operational data for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal requirements.
When a subscription ends or an account is deactivated, we may retain limited records as required for billing, audit, security, or legal compliance, then delete or de-identify data according to our retention practices.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include authentication controls, permission-based access, and controls that keep customer data separated.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Organizations and users should protect credentials, use strong passwords, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to FairShift Pro Support.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Account holders may update certain profile information through the Service or by contacting their organization administrator.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to specific processing. Workforce data requests are often handled first by the customer organization; we will assist organizations as appropriate.
You may opt out of non-essential product communications where offered. Transactional messages related to security, billing, or service availability may still be sent.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business and workforce scheduling use by organizations and authorized adult users. FairShift Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Transfers
FairShift Pro may process and store information in jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice to registered organization administrators. Continued use of the Service after an update becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
11. Contact Information
For privacy questions, data requests, or concerns about this Policy, please contact FairShift Pro Support through the channels published on our website or within the Service.
